**Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team.** As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Manufacturing and Distribution teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Logistics Specialist | Warehouse Operator 2
**Pay Range:** $25/hr
What’s the Job?
+ Manage and maintain accurate inventory control within a chemical manufacturing environment.
+ Perform receiving, material tagging, storage, and posting of inventory receipts.
+ Issue and deliver inventory materials to internal departments and ensure timely order fulfillment.
+ Maintain compliance with company, quality, and safety standards, including cGMP and regulatory requirements.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting processes and identifying areas for efficiency and quality enhancement.
What’s Needed?
+ Associate’s degree in a math or science-related field (required).
+ Prior experience in inventory management, logistics, or material handling.
+ Proficiency with computers; experience with MACOLA preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet most of the day.
