    Our client, a leading organization in the technology and support services industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Engineer – Control M to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Support Engineer – Control M, you will be an integral part of the support department, working closely with various technical teams to ensure seamless scheduling and operational efficiency on the production side. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to support and collaboration, aligning successfully within a diverse and innovative organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Technical Support Engineer – Control M

    **Location:** Phoenix, AZ, Austin, TX, or Westlake, TX (Hybrid role; specific locations include Westlake at 3000 Schwab Way, Phoenix at 2423 E Lincoln Dr., and Austin at 11800 Schwab Way)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Support and maintain Control-M scheduling on the production environment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

    + Collaborate with application teams to address scheduling requests and troubleshoot issues promptly.

    + Interact effectively with technical and managerial staff across various levels to facilitate problem resolution and service restoration.

    + Document processes, procedures, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

    + Mentor and train team members to build a strong, knowledgeable support team capable of handling complex scheduling challenges.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Control-M scheduling and related support activities.

    + Proficiency in JES/SDSF, ISPF, JCL, CA-ESP, CA11, NAS, and UNIX/Linux/Windows environments.

    + Strong understanding of database infrastructure, SQL, and network communication protocols.

    + Experience with problem-solving, process improvement, and technical presentations.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
