Our client, a leader in water and sewer infrastructure services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a vital part of the Maintenance Department supporting water and sewer systems, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to excellence and safety.

**Job Title:** Utility Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Moyock, NC

Pay Range: $18-20 hour

**Shift:** 6pm to 6am

What's the Job?

+ Perform troubleshooting and repairs on pumps, motors, and electrical systems related to water and sewer infrastructure.

+ Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and sewer jetting machines to maintain and clean sewer and stormwater systems.

+ Manage sewer lift stations, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance.

+ Utilize closed-circuit television (CCTV) equipment for sewer system inspections and diagnostics.

+ Adhere to construction safety practices and Department of Transportation standards during daily operations.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

+ Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting activities.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction methods.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication skills.
