Advanced Practice Provider - Boulder Valley Pulmonology Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $49.00 - $73.50 an hour - Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week Boulder Community Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join Boulder Valley Pulmonology, a team specializing in advanced respiratory care. We offer expert diagnosis and treatment for a variety of pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, lung disease, and more. Responsibilities •Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients. Reviews patient records. •Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed. •Performs complete physical exam and records findings. Establishes presumptive diagnosis. •Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. •Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention. •Prepares written prescription orders for drugs. •Assists in transition of care from inpatient to outpatient settings. •Completes billing for hospital and clinic visits in a timely manner. •Interviews and advises patients regarding health and illness prevention. •Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provides patient education. •Assists physicians by recording patient progress notes. Issue diagnostic orders and transcribes orders.
