The **Senior Clinical Pharmacist,** **Oncology Program** will lead and help develop Premera’s oncology program as part of a core team. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with care management, utilization management, provider/member relations, and market-facing teams to enhance the oncology member experience and program outcomes. You are responsible for researching, developing, implementing, and communicating pharmacy initiatives, programs, and services to both internal and external stakeholders. This role ensures the clinically appropriate and cost-effective use of medication, aligning with and supporting Premera's clinical and financial goals. What** **you’ll** **do:
+ Develop oncology drug class specific management strategies including but not limited to trend forecasting & monitoring, drug management strategies, rebate optimization, companion diagnostics, outcomes based or warranty negotiation
+ Measure outcomes of oncology drug strategies, document proof points, develop whitepaper and market facing program presentations
+ Lead provider engagement in reviewing new drug data, gathering input on new strategies, pathways and guidelines, proactive provider communicationsleveragingUM process for insights and opportunities
+ Lead the development of cost containment programse.g.develop dose rounding strategiesleveragingbest practice from academic oncology centers to enable adoption in community oncology practices
+ Maintain market intelligence (e.g.new drug development, best practice in cost containment, practice innovations from oncology practice community, evidence based national guidelines, opportunities in manufacturer warranty or outcomes-based agreements, etc.) to support innovations in PBC’s effort in overall oncology program development
+ Provide consultative services for formulary and UM strategies, SFclientsneedspertaining tooncology, provider contracting related to oncology infusion therapies, member engagement, case management, Rx products, affordability programs, among others
+ Support peer to peer review as needed
What** **you’ll** **bring:
+ Pharmacist with an advanced degree (e.g.PharmD, MBA, MHA, MPH) or(6)yearswork experience **(Required)**
+ Active US Pharmacist license in good standing **(Required)**
+ Four (4) years of clinical program development,managementor consultation in a managed care setting **(Required)**
+ Board Certified in Oncology Pharmacy (HighlyPreferred)
+ Experience in managed care pharmacy
+ Experience and/or familiarity with EHR, Oncology provider practices, specialty pharmacy practices, cancer research, evidence based national guidelines, cost-effective drug management
+ Experience with project management
+ Experience with Medicare
+ Experience with Health Benefit Exchanges
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple, complex, concurrent projects
+ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; strong presentation skills
+ Proven ability to build andmaintainrelationships with both internal and external individuals
+ Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team
+ Strong analytical skills; intermediate MS Word, Excel,PowerPointand Outlook skills
+ Familiarity with local and regional health care issues

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.
The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range.
National Plus Salary Range:
$131,900.00 - $224,200.00
_*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska_ _._
