Summary
GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced Software Engineer III to support our growing Cloud Services practice in remote work environment. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cloud technologies and eager to build a career in cloud architecture, deployment and management.

Essential Functions/responsibilities

+ Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and robust software applications.
+ Architect, develop, and maintain core system components and services.
+ Guide and mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical design sessions, and best practices.
+ Translate high-level business and functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
+ Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development life cycle.
+ Contribute to long-term technical strategy and identify opportunities for system improvements and innovation.
+ Ensure application performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
+ Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and introduce relevant tools and frameworks.
+ Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
+ Write and maintain detailed documentation for code, architecture, and processes.

Information Security and Confidentiality Obligations
+ Ensure adherence to organizational information security policies and procedures; actively participate in mandatory security awareness training; and manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company protocols and data protection standards
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
+ 4-8 years of experience in cloud computing, Software Engineering or a similar role
+ Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
+ Strong experience with modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Spring, .NET, Django).
+ Solid understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
+ Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
+ Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and drive complex projects to successful completion.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in team environments .
Preferred Qualifications
+ Agile/Scrum certification or experience in scaled agile environments.
+ Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
+ Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
+ Familiarity with GitLab code repository, Jira ticketing, and Confluence for documentation
+ Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
+ Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Work environment
+ This work will be completed in a remote environment.
Physical demands
+ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
+ Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations and client facilities.

This includes acquiring a thorough understanding of job-specific responsibilities, systems, and workflows as outlined during onboarding and training.
