Job Title: Claim Administrator
JOB PURPOSE:
The position works closely with the Risk Management team to support the administration and maintenance of the company’s multifamily real estate and commercial property and casualty insurance claims. This role plays a key part in protecting the company’s real estate assets by ensuring timely reporting, accurate documentation, and efficient resolution of all claims impacting the portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following but is not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by Harbor Group Management Company.
• Maintain and document real estate property and casualty claim files for multifamily assets.
• Coordinate TPA deliverables related to real estate losses.
• Collect and prepare claim reports and supplemental documentation required to support claim resolutions.
• Manage third-party claim resolution and subrogation/recovery processes for multifamily real estate properties.
• Maintain claim reporting mechanisms for first- and third-party claims across the company's commercial and multifamily real estate portfolio.
• Process and track claim-related invoices and payments in coordination with the accounting and property management teams.
• Coordinate and schedule internal and external team meetings, including adjusters, brokers, and real estate operations personnel.
• Collaborate on risk management strategies to mitigate loss exposure across the company’s real estate holdings.

Qualifications Include:
+ High School Diploma required.
+ 2+ years’ experience in commercial and property casualty real estate sector preferred.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
+ Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
+ Strong verbal and written interpersonal & communications skills.
+ Must be able to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
