• Engineering Technician

    Actalent (Solon, OH)


    Job Description

    + Provides testing and inspection

    + Records technical information, dimensional, mechanical and performance testing

    + Provides technical support to internal customers as requested including drawing, specification review with interpretations

    + Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities which include creating customer sample submissions

    + Maintain an inventory of commonly required products and tools, such as test bolts, washers, mandrels, gages, sockets

     

    Must Have

     

    + Two-year degree in related field or minimum five years plus of experience in a related field

    + Understand drawings, applicable test specifications, GD&T and dimensional layouts

    + Knowledgeable in gage calibration

    + Familiarity with Proficiency Testing, neutral salt spray, sample preparation (cutting, mounting, polishing, etching)

    + Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025:2017

    + ATLA Laboratory experience

     

    Preferred Skills

     

    + Proficient with metrology methods utilizing an array of inspection equipment

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Solon, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $31.00/hr.
