Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description
As a Quality Technician, you will spend your days on the production floor performing quality checks, ensuring quality processes are adhered to, and maintaining accurate documentation. While there is minimal opportunity for lab work, you will be responsible for prepping samples to send out to a third-party testing partner. You will interpret and follow reference documentation such as specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs). Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will convey Quality-related information effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Perform quality checks on the production floor.
+ Ensure adherence to quality processes.
+ Maintain proper and accurate documentation.
+ Prepare samples for third-party testing.
+ Interpret and follow reference documentation, such as specifications and SOPs.
+ Comply with GMPs and GLPs.
+ Communicate Quality-related information verbally and in writing.
Essential Skills
+ At least 8 months of quality experience or an associate degree in the sciences.
+ Interest in entering a manufacturing/quality setting.
+ Attention to detail and basic math skills.
+ Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Quality control, assurance, and inspection skills.
+ Quality check experience.
+ No degree required with 8 months of quality experience or an associate degree in the sciences with no experience.
Work Environment
The position is available on the 1st shift, typically from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. You will work in a clean manufacturing environment within a large facility housing several production lines. The role requires walking around the facility to pull samples. Enjoy working in a positive environment with a strong company culture that emphasizes training and development.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
