Design, develop, and execute test plans for mechanical and hydraulic components and systems. Conduct development testing including performance, endurance, and environmental validation. Operate and maintain vibration chambers and other environmental test equipment. Perform high-pressure hydraulic testing with a focus on safety and precision. Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to refine test procedures and ensure product reliability. Analyze test data and prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and execute test plans for mechanical and hydraulic components and systems.
+ Conduct development testing, including performance, endurance, and environmental validation.
+ Operate and maintain vibration chambers and other environmental test equipment.
+ Perform high-pressure hydraulic testing with a focus on safety and precision.
+ Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to refine test procedures and ensure product reliability.
+ Analyze test data and prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with hydraulic systems, particularly high-pressure applications.
+ Proficiency in test engineering and lab instrumentation.
+ Ability to design and execute tests for validation.
+ Experience in vibration and endurance testing using environmental testing setups.
+ Skill in data collection, validation, and lab testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Skilled in operating lab instruments, maintaining test setups, and ensuring safety protocols.
+ Capable of creating custom test procedures and fixtures tailored to specific engineering needs.

Join a team of 8 full-time engineers and 2 contractors, all reporting to the director. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Fort Collins, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
