Job Title: Sonographer IIJob Description
Independently perform high-quality pediatric echocardiograms in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Accurately document and submit comprehensive preliminary echo reports. Provide coverage across multiple Pediatric Echo Lab sites and shifts, including participation in the on-call schedule. Effectively manage and prioritize imaging exams based on clinical urgency and workflow. Foster collaboration within the healthcare team and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform high-quality pediatric echocardiograms in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
+ Accurately document and submit comprehensive preliminary echo reports.
+ Provide coverage across multiple Pediatric Echo Lab sites and shifts, including participation in the on-call schedule.
+ Manage and prioritize imaging exams based on clinical urgency and workflow.
+ Collaborate within the healthcare team and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Essential Skills
+ Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular or Ultrasound training program, or equivalent hands-on experience.
+ Minimum of 2 to 4 years in pediatric echocardiography or a related clinical setting.
+ Credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS, PE) via ARDMS or as a Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) via CCI.
+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification is a plus and highly desirable.
+ Strong skills in pediatric and cardiac sonography.
Work Environment
The role involves working across multiple Pediatric Echo Lab sites and shifts, including participation in the on-call schedule. The environment is supportive and team-oriented, fostering collaboration within the healthcare team.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Charleston, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $87000.00 - $104000.00/yr.
