Director of Quality – Aerospace Manufacturing
**Location:** Torrance, CA (On-site)
A precision aerospace manufacturer is seeking a hands-on **Director of Quality** to lead all aspects of the quality function, including QMS oversight, supplier quality, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet the highest aerospace standards while driving a culture of quality across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings **10+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience** with deep knowledge of **AS9100D, NADCAP** , and precision hardware or fastener production. Proven leadership in quality systems, supplier management, and root-cause analysis is essential.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Master’s preferred)
+ Strong background in AS9100D, ISO 9001, and NADCAP compliance
+ Experience in fasteners, precision machining, or hardware manufacturing preferred
+ Hands-on leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
+ ASQ or Lean Six Sigma certifications a plus

**Pay Details:** $150,000.00 to $170,000.00 per year
