Description We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Jamaica, New York. In this role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our IT systems, including servers and networks, while providing Level 2 Help Desk support and training to other departments. Your responsibilities will include maintaining system security, optimizing performance, and addressing technical issues to enhance overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of network and server environments to ensure consistent performance and reliability.

• Monitor system performance and analyze network traffic to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Implement solutions to meet organizational needs and improve system functionality.

• Perform upgrades, repairs, and regular evaluations to keep systems running efficiently.

• Develop and execute security strategies to safeguard the network and computing systems.

• Assign and update security permissions to maintain secure access across the system.

• Provide training and guidance to users on proper utilization of hardware and software.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by users or identified through monitoring.

• Document system management processes and maintain accurate records for future reference. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a quantitative focus.

• At least 2 years of experience managing a Cisco network environment.

• Certification in relevant IT domains.

• Proficiency in managing Microsoft Windows Server environments.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and applications.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Active Directory, Dell Technologies, Citrix Technologies, and Windows 10.

• Previous Help Desk experience and additional certifications are advantageous. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
