• Network Engineer

    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in designing, managing, and supporting complex network infrastructures across multi-site environments. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain advanced network infrastructures across multiple locations and cloud platforms.

    • Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.

    • Configure and manage SD-WAN solutions to support distributed enterprise environments.

    • Deploy and maintain Fortinet platforms and network security solutions.

    • Collaborate with security teams to implement cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

    • Coordinate with external vendors to manage internet services, cabling systems, and other infrastructure needs.

    • Support IT and OT networks, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

    • Conduct physical installation and maintenance of networking hardware, including cabling systems, routers, and wireless access points.

    • Document network configurations and procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.

    • Stay updated on emerging networking technologies to enhance system capabilities.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

     

    • Over 7 years of hands-on networking experience in enterprise environments.

    • Current IT certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, are required.

    • Proficiency with network protocols including BGP, IP, and others.

    • Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, and Fortinet firewalls.

    • Practical experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.

    • Strong knowledge of network security principles and practices.

    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors effectively. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
