Description We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Brunswick, Ohio. This role involves ensuring efficient collections processes, leveraging technology, and maintaining excellent communication with clients. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, starting with in-office training before transitioning to remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute collection activities to ensure timely payments from commercial and consumer accounts.

• Utilize multiple systems to track and update account statuses efficiently.

• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment-related inquiries and disputes.

• Leverage advanced technology skills to enhance collection processes and ensure accuracy.

• Provide detailed reporting and documentation of collection activities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to policies.

• Follow up on overdue accounts and implement appropriate measures to recover payments.

• Maintain precision and clear oral and written communication in all interactions.

• Address billing issues and assist in resolving discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices in collections. Requirements • Previous experience in commercial and consumer collections.

• Proficiency in NetSuite or similar software.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work with multiple systems and adapt to new technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to handle billing and payment discrepancies.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with remote capabilities.
