    Fund Accounting Manager / Senior Manager – Venture Capital

    A leading venture capital firm with nearly $6B in AUM is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager or Senior Manager to join its growing finance team. This high-impact role partners closely with the CFO, Controller, and investment professionals to ensure accurate fund reporting, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple funds and SPVs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead quarterly/annual financial statements, audits, tax returns, and regulatory filings.

    + Oversee fund transactions, capital calls/distributions, and banking activity.

    + Manage investor communications and reporting portal.

    + Serve as primary liaison with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors.

    + Mentor and develop a team of three fund accountants.

    + Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.

    + Help elevate internal controls and finance department processes.

    Qualifications:

    + 7+ years of venture capital or asset management accounting experience.

    + Strong understanding of fund structures, accounting principles, and compliance.

    + Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

    + Excellent communication skills and ability to manage evolving priorities.

    + CPA preferred but not required.

     

    Ideal Candidate: A hands-on leader with a collaborative mindset and a passion for venture capital. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and mentoring associate staff.
