Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for individuals who excel in managing financial data and performing accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency. The role requires a strong background in accounts payable and data entry, as well as familiarity with accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

• Handle invoice processing and verify the accuracy of billing information.

• Support accounts receivable functions, including payment tracking and reconciliation.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and update accounting records.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Assist with implementing and adapting to new systems or processes as needed.

• Generate periodic financial reports to support decision-making.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.

• Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to accounting processes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to process invoices and manage billing information effectively.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in financial matters.
