    Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Clinical Informatics AdministrationSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:The Dayton Children’s population health team identifies and addresses opportunities to improve the healthcare journey for broad populations of children. It is an interdisciplinary team that provides infrastructure, innovation, and an agile approach to improving care for children while prioritizing value over volume. A key component of this approach is our involvement with Partners for Kids (PFK), an accountable care organization responsible for the improvement of health of approximately 120,000 children on Medicaid throughout West Central Ohio.

     

    The Clinical Director plans, implements, and evaluates the administrative, operational, supervisory, and care coordination activities for an assigned area of responsibility in partnership with the Senior Director and ACMO of Population Health. This individual leads a multi-disciplinary team of professional and support staff in strategic directives and care activities to deliver optimal outcomes to include clinical quality, resource utilization and health equity for patients, families, and staff. The Clinical Director partners with internal and external clinical and operational leaders to implement the infrastructure required to improve and achieve the vision of improved population health.

    Department Specific Job Details:

    This role will partner closely with Dayton Children's enterprise behavioral health operational and clinical leadership, Partners for Kids leadership and stakeholders, community mental health centers, and Medicaid Managed Care.

     

    Required Qualifications Education: Master’s degree in public health, health administration, nursing, or related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in healthcare, public health, or population health program coordination. Certifications/Licenses: Licensed Social Work in state of Ohio Skills/Competencies: Strong facilitation skills and proven experience in managing a diverse group of stakeholders through a program planning and implementation process. Excellent interpersonal or organizational skills necessary to present and communicate important information effectively to all levels of hospital staff. Experience managing interdisciplinary teams and large-scale initiatives. Demonstrated experience using data to drive decisions and improve outcomes. Experience in managing organizational transitions and maintaining team morale during periods of change. Preferred Qualifications Skills/Competencies:

     

    A strong understanding of managed care requirements, HEDIS requirements, Outcomes Acceleration for Kids learning network efforts is strongly preferred. Experience in managing initiatives that align with population health best practices. Familiarity with clinical workflows, EHR systems, and healthcare quality metrics. Proven experience engaging both clinical and community leaders in improvement and implementation projects. Familiarity with IHI Model for Improvement and various Implementation Science Frameworks (e.g., RE-AIM).
