Description
The Senior Product Manager for Consumer Checking is a high-visibility role ideal for a high-performing, strategic thinker that enjoys complex problem solving and delivering measurable impact. The product manager will build and lead the execution of innovative product roadmaps and acquisition strategies that drive outsized Consumer Checking Household growth. Leads cross-functional efforts across Digital, Retail Sales and Service, Marketing, and Analytics teams bringing a customer-first mindset and a bias for actions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategy & Execution
+ Lead the development and execution of acquisition strategies that drive portfolio household growth
+ Own the product roadmap and ensure timely delivery of key milestones by influencing cross-functional teams.
+ Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to shape compelling internal and external messaging.
+ Support merger and acquisition activities including product mapping, customer communications, and new market activation.
Analytics & Financial Impact
+ Forecast and analyze acquisition trends, deposit growth, and customer engagement metrics.
+ Build and maintain market-level scorecards and KPIs to measure success across local activations.
+ Develop business cases with financial modeling and secure internal approvals across product, risk, and partner teams.
Innovation & Market Awareness
+ Monitor and proactively develop tactics to capitalize on competitive trends within banking or other industries
+ Apply critical thinking and curiosity to uncover actionable insights from data.
Communication & Influence
+ Deliver clear, concise updates on performance, financials, and strategic shifts to stakeholders.
+ Foster strong relationships across teams to align goals and drive execution.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 7 years of experience working in product management, program management, financial services sales /service support –OR—financial services marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s Degree
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Subject matter expertise and experience working with deposit products and digital innovation.
+ Experience planning and executing multiple projects in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Experience and familiarity with consumer acquisition marketing disciplines
+ Strong decision making and negotiation skills and ability to provide solutions/strategies that work for the bank and for customers.
+ Experience facilitating a team environment placing the team ahead of individual goals.
+ Strong and creative analytical skills, competence/confidence in pulling and analyzing data, and translating the analyses into actionable strategies and tactics.
+ Capability of utilizing business acumen and knowledge of business drivers for assessing market conditions and forecasting financial impacts.
+ Technical skills: Essbase, Microsoft Office suite, Tableau

Compensation Range:
Total Base Pay Range 93,000.00 - 189,000.00 USD Annual
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
