    OVERVIEW

    Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Temporary Design Coordinator to join the Design team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Assist in set up and maintenance of fabric and design boards

    + Swatch fabric, lining, and trim options in midtown

    + Pick up/deliver samples to factories

    + Organize fit room

    + Assist in preparation of cut tickets

    + Simple hand-sewing projects

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Fashion design background preferred

    + Experience in sample room and design ateliers preferred

    SALARY

    The compensation for this position ranges from $20 per hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. Marc Jacobs uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward all levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.
