Job Summary
As the Home Care Administrator, you will oversee the daily operations, staff management, and quality of care at Andrea’s Angels. This position is also the designated Administrator/Manager for our licensed Colorado Class B Home Care Agency, responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations for non-medical personal care services.
You will supervise the Senior Branch Manager, Care Coordination Supervisor, Field Supervisors, and Recruiters, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a culture of professionalism and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
+ Regulatory Compliance & Agency Oversight
+ Ensure agency compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including CDPHE standards for Class B home care agencies
+ Maintain organizational charts, personnel files, administrative records, policies, and procedures
+ Ensure completion, maintenance, and submission of required reports and records to CDPHE
+ Maintain availability during all hours personnel are providing services; designate in writing qualified staff to act in your absence
+ Ensure marketing and promotional materials accurately reflect services provided
Operational Management
+ Oversee branch operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and facility oversight
+ Monitor payroll, expenses, revenue from billable hours, and other financial metrics
+ Conduct cost-benefit analyses and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency
+ Maintain effective operational systems to ensure smooth service delivery and high-quality care
Quality Assurance & Training
+ Collaborate with Quality Assurance to implement infection prevention, safety protocols, and care standards
+ Conduct audits to ensure adherence to agency guidelines and protocols
+ Lead orientation, in-service education, and ongoing training programs for all homemakers and personal care staff
+ Monitor staff performance, retention, and professional development
Staff & Patient Engagement
+ Oversee recruitment, training, and retention strategies across departments
+ Ensure effective communication and engagement with patients, caregivers, and staff
+ Handle complaints and grievances promptly and in compliance with regulatory guidelines
Data & Reporting
+ Utilize operational data to inform decisions, monitor performance metrics, and report outcomes to senior management
+ Ensure coordinated case management, staffing, and caregiver assignments
+ Maintain a culture of accountability through clear KPIs and goal-oriented performance monitoring
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
+ Payroll Efficiency – Optimal resource allocation and staff satisfaction
+ Expense Control – Minimize unnecessary expenditures and optimize spending
+ Revenue Growth – Maximize billable hours and efficient scheduling
+ Staff Retention & Training – Reduce turnover and ensure compliance with ongoing training requirements
+ Regulatory Compliance – Zero violations in CDPHE audits and timely completion of all required reports
Minimum Qualifications
+ Must have prior Home Care, Nursing Home, or Assisted Living experience
+ High school diploma or GED plus 1 year documented supervisory experience in personal care services, OR College degree in healthcare services plus 1 year healthcare work experience in the last 10 years, OR College degree in any field plus 2 years healthcare work experience in the last 10 years
+ Must complete an 8-hour CDPHE-approved Class B Administrator training course within the first month of designation
+ Complete 12 additional clock hours of Class B educational training within the first 12 months (total ~20 hours in the first year)
+ Complete 12 clock hours of continuing education annually thereafter, with at least 8 hours for first-time administrators if applicable
+ Strong knowledge of home care operations, quality assurance, and Colorado Class B licensing regulations
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to use translator services as needed
+ Proficiency with operational and scheduling systems (e.g., Salesforce, IVR, HHAeXchange)
