Lead IT Enterprise Architect

We are looking for a skilled Lead Enterprise Architect to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable architecture for our systems, ensuring alignment with our business goals and technology strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software and hardware integration, application architecture, and cloud computing. This role with report to Enterprise Architecture Director.
You will report directly to our Director of IT and you’ll work out of our Morris Plaines location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture Design:
• Develop enterprise-level architectures, including architecture design documents and data flow diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with infrastructure, security, and enterprise standards while meeting business requirements.
• Convert business architecture into technology architecture and provide integrated solutions across platforms
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
• Participate in technology roadmap discussions to ensure alignment with strategic goals
• Serve as a technical liaison between IT teams and business units, translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Conduct architecture review meetings to solicit feedback and ensure alignment across teams.
Technology Evaluation and Selection:
• Research emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend suitable technologies that align with business goals.
• Lead platform and technology evaluations using structured methodologies
• Analyze existing systems to identify enhancements and recommend modifications for improved performance and efficiency.
Quality Assurance and Optimization:
• Establish architectural standards and best practices to ensure quality and consistency in system design and implementation.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of architectural solutions.
Training and Mentorship:
• Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and support in system design and architecture.
• Facilitate training sessions to share knowledge and best practices within the organization
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
+ Design and develop data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs
+ Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into data solutions
+ Manage and optimize ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
+ Perform data profiling and quality assessments to ensure data accuracy and completeness
+ Implement best practices for data security and compliance with data protection regulations
+ Monitor and optimize query performance in data warehouses to ensure timely access to critical business information
+ Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues, collaborating with crossfunctional teams as necessary
+ Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies in data warehousing and analytics
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Software Development
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise, data or systems architecture, and technology strategy
• Proven expertise with Enterprise Architecture across multiple domains and technologies
• Proven ability to design and implement complex systems within enterprise environments. In-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, microservices, and DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and design patterns.
• Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
WE VALUE
• Exposure to headless architecture, React Apps, Headless CMS, AI/ML and IOT etc.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and drive consensus across diverse teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex architecture challenges.
• Proven expertise in ALM domain including CI/CD, GitHub etc.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containers, and microservices architecture.
COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000 - $135,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
