+ Lead and support the site Safety Committee and other engagement efforts to strengthen employee ownership of safety.

+ Deliver engaging EHS training to all levels of the organization and maintain 100% completion of required certifications.

+ Perform job hazard analyses (JHAs) and support departments with data-driven risk reduction plans.

+ Escort employees to medical care when needed and train additional authorized personnel to do the same.

+ Champion ITW’s core values—integrity, simplicity, respect, and shared risk—while applying the 80/20 principles to drive meaningful, lasting improvements.

+ Occasional travel (up to 10%) for business needs and cross-site collaboration.

    Education & Other Competencies:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.

+ Minimum of 6 years’ experience managing OSHA safety programs in a manufacturing environment.

+ Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and workers’ compensation requirements.

+ OSHA Training Institute Certification preferred.

+ Proven ability to conduct safety audits, manage compliance programs, and deliver effective EHS training.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence at all levels of the organization.

+ Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust and drive positive change.

+ Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with digital reporting tools preferred.

    + Spanish fluency a plus.

+ Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure; skilled in time management and prioritization.

+ Available by phone for emergency response as needed.
