We are seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to serve as the primary contact for employee HR inquiries and concerns. In this role, you will execute HR transactions while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include conducting employment verifications and background investigations, assisting with onboarding new hires, and supporting various HR systems. You will also be involved in preparing HR invoices, facilitating vendor setups, and coordinating payments. Additionally, you will support college relations initiatives and employee training programs, compile HR reports, and maintain electronic employee files.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the primary contact for employee HR inquiries and concerns.
+ Execute HR transactions while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
+ Conduct employment verifications and background investigations.
+ Assist with onboarding new hires in HR systems (HR4U, ADP, 401k).
+ Prepare HR invoices, facilitate vendor setup, and coordinate payments efficiently.
+ Support college relations initiatives and employee training programs.
+ Compile HR reports as needed and maintain electronic employee files using UKG-PeopleDoc.
+ Develop, monitor, and analyze HR metrics such as absenteeism, headcount, and workforce planning.
+ Update organizational charts and employee records.
+ Aid recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing onboarding procedures.
+ Maintain and utilize HRIS systems to track employee data and generate comprehensive reports.
+ Collaborate with management on employee relations and workplace policy development.
+ Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal protocols.
+ Provide payroll and benefits administration support.
+ Oversee onboarding and offboarding activities.
+ Lead HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locations.
+ Contribute to a culture of inclusivity, employee engagement, and continuous learning.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of HR experience.
+ Proficiency in HR systems such as HR4U, ADP, and UKG-PeopleDoc.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to manage and analyze HR metrics.
+ Experience in payroll and benefits administration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with HRIS systems.
+ Familiarity with employment legislation and HR best practices.
+ Capability to support HR activities for 155 employees across the United States.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Linden, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.06/hr.
