    Job Title: Sourcing Manager

    Job Description

    As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for executing Direct Procurement Operations activities within the Tissue Diagnostics division. Your role will ensure alignment with Category Management strategies, with a strong focus on supplier management, escalations, master data management, cost savings, and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities

    + Identify and evaluate suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.

    + Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service-level agreements.

    + Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts.

    + Continuously seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.

    + Mitigate risks by diversifying suppliers and monitoring their performance.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and product teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in procurement, purchasing, contract management, strategic sourcing, and purchase order management.

    + 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing, with a preference for experience in chemicals or diagnostics.

    + Bachelor's degree is required.

    + Experience in a regulated environment or with lab chemicals, medical, or clinical supplies is preferred.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + University degree, preferably in a business-related field with a post-graduate business qualification.

    + Experience in supporting cost reduction and value improvement programs.

    + Familiarity with operational excellence or continuous improvement methodologies.

    + Experience in Life Sciences is a plus.

    + Experience with enterprise systems, procure-to-pay tools, and eSourcing tools is desired.

    + Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions.

    + Proficiency in developing and implementing negotiation strategies.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Oro Valley, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
