    Job Title: IT Procurement Coordinator

    Position Summary:

    The IT Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of technology-related purchasing requests within the organization. This role ensures timely and accurate procurement of IT equipment, software, and related supplies, while maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Review and prioritize incoming electronic requisitions (e-reqs) and email requests for IT and office-related purchases.

    + Conduct thorough research and cost analysis for requested items, including:

    + Mobile devices (e.g., smartphones)

    + Computers, laptops, and related hardware

    + Cables, peripherals, and accessories

    + Software applications and licensing

    + General office supplies (as needed)

    + Collaborate with employees to confirm item specifications and ensure alignment with organizational standards.

    + Coordinate with department managers to obtain necessary approvals for requisitions.

    + Convert approved requests into service tickets and generate purchase orders (POs) using manual and online systems.

    + Distribute POs to vendors and initiate order placements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.

    + Maintain detailed tracking logs for:

    + Software license acquisitions

    + PO creation, status updates, and delivery timelines

    + Monitor order fulfillment, follow up with vendors on delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.

    + Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contribute to process improvements for operational efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    + Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support—preferably in an IT or corporate environment.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

    + Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement systems (e.g., ERP or ticketing platforms).

    + Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks effectively.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
