Job Title: Finance Manager- Construction Capital Projects

About the Role

Join a high-impact Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives team overseeing $3B+ in capital and operating budgets. This role supports major infrastructure projects—including new construction and renovations—across a large healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead financial operations for large-scale capital projects in facilities and construction

+ Manage capital and operating budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting

+ Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and compliance audits

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and drive strategic initiatives

+ Develop dashboards and performance reports to inform leadership decisions

+ Support project setup, capital appropriations, and purchase order management

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 7+ years of experience in construction finance (healthcare, facilities, or operations preferred)

+ Proven leadership in managing large capital budgets (multi-billion dollar scale)

+ Strong skills in budgeting, reporting, and process improvement

+ Experience with PMWeb or similar project management tools

+ Advanced Excel skills and ability to synthesize financial data for stakeholders

+ Background in operational strategy, program management, or project controls

+ Strong MS Excel skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menlo Park, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $79.21 - $104.97/hr.
