    We’re seeking Data Center Cable Technicians to support a high-impact data center build-out. This role involves installing and labeling Cat5/Cat6 cables, supporting server and switch deployment, and performing structured cabling tasks in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.     What You’ll Do

     

    + Run and label Cat5/Cat6 cables according to structured cabling standards

    + Perform punch downs, cable terminations, and QA/QC cleanup

    + Support uplink installation and server/switch deployment

    + Follow documentation and labeling best practices

    + Conduct cable testing and assist with power-up and validation procedures

    + Work in a data center environment with strict safety and quality protocols

    + Maintain workspace organization and adhere to project timelines

     

    What You Bring

     

    + Familiarity with structured cabling and low-voltage installation

    + Experience with cable labeling, punch downs, and terminations

    + Ability to work in fast-paced environments with attention to detail

    + Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn

    + Basic toolset: drill, screwdrivers, and steel-toed boots

    + High school diploma or equivalent

     

    Nice to Have

     

    + Experience with Aconex or CxAlloy

    + Familiarity with server and switch installation

    + Understanding of power-up and validation testing

    + OSHA safety awareness and documentation skills

    This is a Contract position based out of Ashburn, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $48.00/hr.
