    Patient Services Coordinator – Healthcare Administration

     

    Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Patient Services Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients, from their first call to ongoing care coordination.     Key Responsibilities

    + Patient Scheduling: Coordinate appointments efficiently and accurately.

    + Welcome Calls: Provide a warm and informative first point of contact for new patients.

    + Phone Support: Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy.

    + Reporting: Generate and manage reports to support operational needs.

    + Intake Coordination: Collaborate with intake staff to ensure seamless patient onboarding.

    + Authorization Management: Work closely with the authorization team to track and follow up on new and expiring authorizations.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    + Proven experience in healthcare administration, insurance verification, and patient services

    + Strong background in customer service and phone communication

    + Expertise in intake coordination and scheduling systems

    + Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment

    + Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

    This is a Contract position based out of Redding, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
