    Job Title: IT Support Specialist

     

    Intermediate Level | On-Site & Remote Support

    Position Overview:

    The IT Support Specialist provides Tier I network support and Tier II end-user support across multiple locations, with primary responsibilities based at the Lawrenceburg campus. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service, and the ability to resolve issues both onsite and remotely. The specialist will ensure user satisfaction through follow-up, escalate work orders when necessary, and contribute to broader IT initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide Tier I network and Tier II desktop support to users across multiple sites.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, hardware, software, and mobile devices.

    + Support users with account access, email functionality, and general application issues.

    + Maintain and administer user accounts and permissions.

    + Participate in IT projects and assist with system upgrades and deployments.

    + Follow up on closed tickets to ensure resolution and user satisfaction.

    + Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.

    + Participate in an on-call rotation and perform physical IT tasks such as lifting and equipment installation.

    Required Skills:

    + Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.

    + Experience with desktop hardware, printers, and mobile device support.

    + Familiarity with user account management and basic network troubleshooting.

    + Strong communication and customer service skills.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 3–5 years of relevant IT support experience.

    + Associate degree or equivalent education/experience; certifications such as A+ are a plus.

    + Experience with enterprise systems and storage technologies.

    + Familiarity with virtual environments and unified communication platforms.

    + Ability to troubleshoot email issues, including archiving and file management.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrenceburg, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
