Job Title: Procurement Engineer

Type: Direct Hire

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is seeking a Procurement Engineer to support our customer in developing Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) and Equipment Qualification (EQ) plans. This role will focus on procurement engineering, process improvement, and technical support within a nuclear and startup-style environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop and execute CGD and EQ plans in accordance with industry standards

+ Lead sourcing and procurement of materials, equipment, and contractor services

+ Develop and approve procedures in compliance with NRC and DOE requirements

+ Collaborate with engineering, quality, and facility teams to ensure compliance and efficiency

+ Support process improvement and reverse engineering initiatives

+ Ensure technical accuracy and documentation for procurement deliverables

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

+ Experience in nuclear, facility, environmental, or quality engineering preferred

+ Knowledge of electronics/electrical systems a plus

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Working Conditions:

+ Moderate physical activity (handling up to 40 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods)
