    Quality Control Inspector (Medical Device Components)

    A growing precision manufacturing company in Anoka County is seeking a **Quality Control Inspector** to join their team. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all medical device components meet exacting quality standards. As a QC Inspector, you’ll perform first article, in-process, and final inspections while supporting continuous improvement and compliance with ISO 13485 standards

     

    Located in Anoka County, MN

    Direct Hire

    **Pay:** $25 – $32 per hour (based on experience)

    **Shift:** Full-time | 1st Shift and 2nd shift

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined medical device components.

    + Record and analyze inspection data; document work accurately in reports and travelers.

    + Identify and communicate quality issues to management.

    + Support nonconformance (NCR) and RMA processes.

    + Use various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, microscopes, vision systems, and CMM.

    + Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.

    + Assist with ISO 13485 compliance and collaborate with engineers on new product development.

    + Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

    Qualifications

    + 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment.

    + Strong understanding of ISO 13485, GMP, and quality control methodologies.

    + Proficient in using precision measurement tools and interpreting GD&T.

    + Working knowledge of sampling plans (AQL) and inspection processes.

    + Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.

    + Familiarity with JobBOSS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.

    + Ability to read both imperial and metric measurements.

    + Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
