Site Security Specialist

Position Summary:

+ **Work Schedule:** Monday – Friday 1st shift

+ **100% onsite**

The **Site Security Specialist** is responsible for providing critical oversight of access control systems, CCTV operations, and regulatory requirements that support DEA and corporate standards.

The Role:

+ Ensure compliance with site and corporate security standards, Food & Drug Administration (FDA), and other applicable regulatory security requirements

+ Ensure crisis communications and emergency notifications are managed effectively during an emergency

+ Oversee access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and mass notifications systems.

+ Ensure highly effective partnerships with contract security service providers

+ Ensure effective liaison and collaboration with local law enforcement, Fire Department, and Community Emergency Response Team

+ Completing incident reports and entering them into the incident reporting data system

+ All other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

+ High school diploma required

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Minimum of three years security experience (combined corporate security and/or military/law enforcement)
