About the role

As a Test Manager - Projects, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end testing efforts across complex projects, ensuring quality delivery through strategic planning, execution, and team leadership. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with developers, testers, project managers, and stakeholders across geographies.

In this role, you will:

• Create tailored test plans and strategies aligned with project needs.

• Oversee the full testing lifecycle—from planning and execution to reporting.

• Analyze requirements and estimate testing timelines and resource needs.

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Lead and mentor the testing team, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment.

• Share requirements and collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders.

• Resolve issues quickly and proactively to maintain project momentum.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to individual testers.

What you need to have to be considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

• 12+ years of experience in the IT industry.

• Proven experience in project management and leading teams across multiple geographies.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Hands-on experience in requirement analysis, test planning, and execution.

These will help you stand out:

• Certification in Project Management or Agile methodologies.

• Experience mentoring and evaluating team members.

• Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until November 10th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 to $112,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
