    Job Title: 1:1 CNA – Middle School

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Duration: 6 weeks to start (High likelihood of extension)

    Schedule:

    + Monday: 7:20 AM – 4:00 PM (includes after-school club)

    + Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:20 AM – 2:20 PM

    + Wednesday: 7:20 AM – 1:40 PM

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide 1:1 support for a middle school student with a colostomy bag. The CNA will assist the student throughout the school day, including:

     

    + Academic support

    + Lunch assistance

    + Transitions between classes and services

    + Personal care related to the colostomy bag

    Qualifications:

    + Active CNA certification

    + Pediatric experience strongly preferred

    + School-based experience highly desirable

    + Experience managing colostomy care required

    Contract Requirements:

    + Fingerprinting

    + CORI background check

    Compensation:

    + $25/hour

    Minimum Requirements:

    High School diploma or equivalent required

     

    Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice

     

    Current CPR if applicable

     

    TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

     

    Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

     

    Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

     

    Must be at least 18 years of age
