Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Opportunity in Suffolk County, MA
Amergis Educational Staffing is currently partnering with a school in Revere, MA to hire qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a full-time, contract-based position with strong potential for extension.
Position Details:
+ Location: Suffolk County, Massachusetts
+ Start Date: Immediate
+ Duration: Full 2025–2026 School Year (extension likely)
+ Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time hours
+ Pay Rate: $70/hour (negotiable based on experience)
Requirements:
+ Active CCC-SLP licensure
+ Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience
Role Overview:
+ Caseload of approximately 60 students (not all direct service)
+ Serving elementary and middle school populations
+ Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
+ Provide direct therapy services to students
+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
