    Athletic Trainer – School-Based Role

     
     
     
     

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer to support student-athletes in Woodbridge, VA. This is a school-based role focused on injury prevention, early intervention, and post-event care for athletic programs.

    Assignment Details:

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Location: Woodbridge, VA

    + Schedule: Arrive at 1:30 PM daily; end time varies based on practices/games (typically 6:30–7:30 PM)

    + Hours: ~40 hours/week

    + Contract Duration: Through January 2026

    + Future Opportunity: Additional coverage needed in Manassas, VA starting March 2026 through end of school year

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide care before and after athletic practices and games

    + Set up fields and equipment

    + Document athlete care and treatment

    + Remain on-site until all athletic events conclude

    Requirements:

    + Board of Certification for Athletic Training (NATABOC)

    + Active Virginia license to practice Athletic Training (assistance available for out-of-state candidates)

    + Master’s degree in Athletic Training preferred

    + Minimum 3 years of experience preferred

    + Current CPR certification

    + Must be at least 18 years old

    Compensation:

    + Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr (flexible based on experience)

     

    Note: This position is strictly for certified Athletic Trainers. Nurses, physical therapists, or personal trainers do not meet the qualifications.
