Summary You will serve as a Technical Project Manager (Administrative/Technical) in the Live Virtual Constructive Training Division, Range Systems Engineering Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. Responsibilities You will lead engineering projects through all phases, including requirements identification and development, solution design and development, implementation, verification and validation, and transition to operations and maintenance. You will develop project schedules, cost, duration, schedule, and resource estimates, plans of action and milestones, requirements documents, design documents, implementation plans, verification and validation plans. You will perform project oversight of projects managed by other government and contractor personnel, including reviewing project management and technical products developed and solutions delivered by the project team. You will provide guidance and concurrence on requirements and acceptance criteria, ensure proper involvement of and communication with stakeholders and integrated project team members, track risks and mitigations, and resolve and report issues. You will contribute to process development and improvement for project management and engineering practices for the organization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating engineering project information to develop long range plans, budget, scope, and schedule requirements and analyze, apply, and improve processes necessary to engineer, monitor, control and document system development and delivery for a warfare program. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
