Special Education Teacher – MOD Class (Middle School)
? Duration: 7 months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our Middle School MOD (Moderate Disabilities) program. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized instruction to students with special needs in a supportive, behavior-free classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and committed to fostering academic and personal growth in every student.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals
+ Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
+ Provide tutorial assistance and academic interventions
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation
+ Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
+ Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
+ Valid state teaching certificate (required)
+ Adaptive Certification (required)
+ LBS1 Endorsement (preferred)
+ Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)
+ CPR certification (if applicable)
