• School Psychologist

    Amergis (Port Orchard, WA)


    The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment

    + Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred

    + Master’s degree in psychology preferred

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    2025-2026 school year

    Schedule:

    Monday-Friday

    Hours/Week (Paid/Unpaid Lunch):

    37.5 hours per week, 30 minute lunch

    Position Details (Age group, Caseload, Duties):

    -For the 2025-2026 school year

     

    -Each school psych is responsible for one school

     

    -In person candidates only. No remote or hybrid.

     

    -Position for Elementary, but will consider secondary based off candidate experience and preference

     

    -Caseload: SKSD does not do caseloads for psychs, but just assigns them as designated psych for one school within district
