    Hospital Labor and Delivery RN | December Start – Pleasanton

     

    Start Date: December 2025 | 13-Week Contract

     

    We’re seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Pleasanton, California. This is a hospital-based role in a high-acuity labor and delivery unit, offering the opportunity to work with advanced technology and a collaborative team.

    Position Highlights

    + Location: Pleasanton, CA

    + Setting: Hospital – Labor and Delivery

    + Start Window: December 2025

    + Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension

    + Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)

    + Shift: Days or Nights

    Required Qualifications

    + Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility)

    + CA RN License

    + 3+ years of Labor and Delivery RN experience

    + Certifications:

    + BLS (American Heart Association)

    + ACLS

    + PALS

    + EPIC EMR proficiency

    + Prior travel RN experience

    Additional Compliance Requirements

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site

    + Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

    + Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required

    + Computer proficiency required

    Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring patients, assist with deliveries, monitor maternal and fetal well-being, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and positive birth outcomes.
