Description :
This project includes making federally mandated changes for the medicaid system of sc. This position will perform configuration management technician duties and support the migration tool (changeman) for the medicaid it services team. Configuration management technician duties will include identifying testing needs and participating in the implementation of the new release of the software as needed.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Analyst ROLE WILL be responsible for gathering requirements and assisting with projects, building interactive dashboard. And asset management initiatives. Assist with initial artifacts review process. Document, update and verify the implementation plan. As the intake and release coordinator will be responsible for distributing the intake/RFC document for application teams review, gather level of effort and questions. Provide weekly release report and update monthly metrics. Collaborate with MITS and SCDHHS stakeholders on special projects under the direction and supervision of the Deputy Director.
As a configuration Management technician, serve as backup to migrate software for Medicaid services into production environment. Verify that the application changes have been approved for migration and confirm that all appropriate approvals have been recorded.
Responsible for updating and maintaining documentation as it pertains to the Medicaid IT Services change management requirements. Train the MITS organizations on new/updated processes in collaboration with the Operations manager. Work closely with the Technical Documentation Writer to gather all relevant artifacts that need to reside in a centra location. Also train newly onboarded members on the configuration management software and other operations processes. Communicate effectively in both written and spoken communication. Work collaboratively with Clemson staff and other contracted staff.
