Job Description
A Guidewire InsuranceNow Technical Lead is responsible for the design development and maintenance of cloudbased solutions on the Guidewire InsuranceNow platform for insurance companies Key duties include customizing the platform integrating it with other systems configuring workflows troubleshooting issues and collaborating with business stakeholders and other technical teams to deliver highquality software for policy administration billing and claims processing
Design develop and customize solutions within the InsuranceNow platform to meet specific business requirements
Build integrations between InsuranceNow and other external or thirdparty applications
Configure workflows rules and other system components to optimize insurance operations
Identify troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues to ensure the system operates efficiently
Work closely with business analysts QA testers architects and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Provide technical guidance estimate effort for projects lead code reviews and ensure code quality
Establish and adhere to coding design and testing best practices and guidelines
Required skills and qualifications
Minimum of 25 years of experience with Guidewire InsuranceNow and a background in Java development
Strong knowledge of Java JavaScript and related web technologies XML HTML
Experience with databases like SQL Server MySQL or AWS Aurora
Familiarity with technologies like Apache Tomcat and cloud services eg AWS
Understanding of logging and debugging tools eg Log4J heap dumps
Familiarity with insurance industry processes and workflows is often required
Soft skills
Excellent communication problemsolving and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating with various stakeholders"

5. Collaborates and acts as a team player with cross-functional teams, executives, and stakeholders, fostering a positive and productive environment for successful software development initiatives.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: **USD 110000 to 138665 per year**
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
