How You’ll Make an Impact

+ Complete pre-inspection (and post-inspection where required) of equipment such as fork truck and yard tractor to ensure safe operating condition

+ Proper operation of forklift and yard tractor; safely using horns, backup alarms and safety strobe lights

+ Use yard tractor to move trailers from dock-to-dock as needed

+ Move component trailers to production lines

+ Move empty trailers to dock C & A,B for loading (communicate status)

+ Load/unload shuttle trailers

+ Stage loaded trailers for transfer as required

+ Stage empty supplier trailers appropriately for pick-up

+ Communicate with production lines, warehouse, truck drivers, team leaders, and supervisors to ensure correct trailers are staged in appropriate dock doors or locations

+ Performing material handler duties in time between trailer movements

+ Utilizing RF Scanner to scan materials and movements into SAP

+ Load Recycling Trailers

+ Checking in third-party drivers

+ Packaging, preparing, and shipping daily common carrier shipments

+ Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.

+ Operate equipment safely

+ May also be asked to assist with other plant duties outside of the scope of the daily job responsibilities

What You’ll Need

+ Must have Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements

+ Communicate with warehouses, truck drivers, team leaders, and supervisors to ensure correct trailers are taken to the correct locations.

+ Performing material handler duties in time between trailer movements.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Utilizing RF Scanner to scan materials and movements into SAP.
