What You'll Do

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for helping in the Shipping/Receiving Office and will also assist in loading and unloading trucks. You will use a scan gun and computer, accurately updating inventory and related information. Blind receivers are done when receiving in materials. In this role, you'll work with Kerry and non-Kerry personnel to ensure the inventory moving in and out of the Byesville plant is aligned to meet the business needs. As shipping Safely transporting finished product from racking onto trucks as well being able to put products in racks or tier stack them from the floor. This person will cross train and be able to do multiple Shipping/Receiving functions. This person is responsible for helping to keep the Office and Warehouse cleaned. T his position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. In the absence of the Traffic Coordinator another Traffic Coordinator or Team Lead/Supervisor will serve as backup.

What You'll Need to Succeed

+ High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older

+ 6 mo. of Food or chemical manufacturing experience ideal.

+ 6 mo. Prior lift truck, electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred.

+ Ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime.

+ Must be self-motivated and conscientious.

+ Ability to work well with a team or other coworkers.

+ Understanding of shipping, receiving and inventory processes..

+ Ability to complete certification requirements

+ Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred.

The pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.
