**Pay:** This position pays $38.26/hr, plus any applicable shift differential
**4** **th** **Shift** : Monday and Friday 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. Saturday and Sunday 1:00 pm - 10:00 am
As a **Group Leader CNC Machining** here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards, while optimizing production schedules. You will lead a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations to increase savings and better serve our customers.
+ Performs and/or directs a group which performs set-up, operate, teardown and troubleshooting of any and all CNC and ASM machines and is responsible for machines, tooling, and gaging assigned to the group.
+ Analyzes and plans work load, assigns, instructs and trains operators in machine operations, follows up on instructions and checks performance to maintain quality of parts produced.
+ Watches supply levels, ordering supplies and tools when necessary.
+ Keeps currently informed on changing standards and specifications, maintains group records and fills out necessary shop orders.
+ Works with Engineering, Production Control and Programmers on trial processes and/or experimental tooling which must be proven before adapting to the CNC/ASM machines.
+ Refers trouble and problems to Supervisor.

+ CNC/ASM Milling machines
+ CNC/ASM Turning machines
+ Tooling; ie cutters, drills, boring bars, lapping, etc.
+ Anorad machines
+ Drills, tappers, mills, turning, etc.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
+ Must be willing and able to work in a "work cell" environment and dedicated to high quality of work.
+ Machine Shop working environment.
+ Typical dexterity to set up and operate CNC/ASM equipment.
+ Must work with coolant and oil materials.
+ Must wear safety glasses with side shields.
+ Oversee general housekeeping practices in group.
+ Average to heavy weight lifting required.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Proven experience as a machine shop manager or similar role.
+ 4+ years of experience with machining processes and equipment.
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills.
+ Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
+ Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
+ Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles.
+ Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
