Summary:
JFSNJ is seeking a highly skilled and mission-driven Data Specialist & Trainer to assist with the optimization and development of our data infrastructure while empowering staff through effective training programs. This position will play a pivotal role in enhancing data systems efficiency, data reliability, and the strategic use of technology across the JFSNJ system.
Responsibilities:
Data Systems
+ Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows between various database systems.
+ Implement best practices for scalable data architecture, modeling, and processing to ensure high data quality and reliability.
+ Develop automations and future AI integrations to reduce manual data entry and streamline operations.
+ Data entry as needed, such as pledge/payment batch entry and approval, and new constituents.
+ Data clean-up as needed, such as address verification and adjustments.
+ Data quality control and assurance, such as regular data checks to ensure compliance with established best practices for data management.
+ Assist in fulfilling data report requests.
Training & Enablement
+ Design and deliver engaging staff training programs focused on maximizing productivity and effective use of the organization’s tech stack.
+ Serve as a resource and coach for staff on data tools, systems, best practices, and workflows.
Technology Evaluation & Optimization
+ Help to evaluate JFSNJ’s current tech stack to ensure optimal utilization, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.
+ Collaborate with department leadership to recommend improvements or changes to technology platforms and tools.
Education: College degree in Computer Science or related field.
Additional Requirements:
+ Experience in data engineering, systems integration, or related fields.
+ Strong knowledge of data architecture, ETL processes, and automation tools.
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
+ Excellent communication and training facilitation skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with others.
+ Strong project management skills with the ability to be flexible to changing priorities and deadlines.
