    What the day will look like

    The Head of US Analytics is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving data-driven decision-making, innovation, and business growth across Aon’s US Reinsurance Actuarial and Cat Modeling teams. We are looking for a dynamic executive who has experience in analytics leadership, client engagement, and talent development. You will lead a high-performing analytics organization, develop cross-functional collaboration, and champion a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic & Financial Leadership

     

    + Define and implement the U.S. analytics strategy aligned with Aon’s business objectives.

    + Drive revenue growth through data innovation, predictive modeling, and actionable insights.

    + Evaluate performance using advanced metrics and analytics frameworks to advise strategic decisions.

    + Lead budgeting and resource allocation for analytics initiatives across U.S. markets.

    Client Engagement & External Impact

    + Serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, delivering high-impact analytics solutions that address sophisticated business challenges.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including C-suite executives.

    + Ensure delivery of exceptional client value through tailored analytics and data storytelling.

    + Represent Aon’s analytics capabilities at industry events and thought leadership forums.

    Team Leadership & Internal Collaboration

    + Lead and develop a diverse team of analytics professionals across the U.S., fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

    + Collaborate with business leaders across solution lines to integrate analytics into core offerings.

    + Champion talent development, mentorship, and succession planning within the analytics function.

    + Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring, development, and team culture.

    + Drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities through data-driven insights and collaboration.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    + Minimum 15 years of experience in analytics, data science, or related fields, with leadership roles in large organizations.

    + Shown success in leading large, geographically dispersed teams and delivering measurable business impact.

    + Expertise in enterprise risk, predictive modeling, and sophisticated analytics platforms.

    + Strong financial competence and critical thinking skills.

    + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

    + Ambitious attitude with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $300,000 to $400,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

     

    This position is eligible to participate in Aon’s annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

     

    Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aon’s discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance.
