Description
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the management of the donor database system and the support of agency fundraising special events in order to further the mission of CABVI.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for management of donor database.
+ Responsible for continued development of the donor database to ensure all donor records are accurate and complete.
+ Owns database vendor relationship.
+ Manage the process for all CABVI mailings including annual asks, marketing campaigns, fund raising event invites, etc.
+ Manage communications with donors and staff, including but not limited to gift acknowledgement letters, honor and memorial cards and letters, solicitor updates, pledge reminders, and various other communications as needed.
+ Partners with accounting to assure all contributions and payments are processed accordingly.
+ Work directly with Volunteer Services team on various projects.
+ Prepare all fund development revenue projections/reports for department leadership.
+ Responsible for the support of fundraising special events and agency activities to promote the mission of CABVI. Attend events and committee meetings (as needed).
+ As Needed:
+ Represent CABVI at various outward community events including but not limited to Senior Expos, Health and Wellness fairs, Black Family Reunion, Juneteenth, Closing the Health Gap, Cincinnati Opera, Newport Aquarium.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
+ Associate degree, bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ 2-3 years of experience in Fund Development, Community Relations, Public Relations, and/or Marketing.
+ Must be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of utilization of having used donor database software such as Bloomerang CRM.
+ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva a plus.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Required Skills/Abilities:
+ Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
+ Must demonstrate ability to recognize and respond to “sense of urgency” in daily workflow.
