    TheMDS Coordinatoris a professional nursing position responsible for the accurate and timely submissions of the Minimum Data Sets (MDS) in the facility. The focus of the position is to manage the MDS assessment process in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

    Requirements

    + Experience with ICD 10 coding, and actively RAC certified

    + 2-3 years of direct experience with MDS certification

    + Maine RN license in good standing

    + Experience with individual and group training

    + Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.

    + Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.

    + Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.

    + Basic computer skills
